Overview of Department • 10 Divisions, 63 faculty members, 48.325 FTE (22.73 clinical FTE at UNM) • Cardiothoracic Surgery – Residency • Dental Hygiene • Dental Services - Residency • General Surgery (includes Burn and Trauma, Critical Care, General Surgery and Surgical Oncology) – Residency • Ophthalmology – Residents (Tufts, UPitt)

  3. Otolaryngology - Residency • Pediatric Surgery • Plastic Surgery • Urology – Residency • Vascular Surgery

  4. Annual Revenues of $18 M, including nearly $8.2M through UNMMG, and nearly $200 K from CRTC • Research Funding of $1.3 M

  5. Attributes of “Unique Clinical Programs” (Dr. Rayburn) • Address special NM health problem(s) • Involve a multidisciplinary team • Unique health care resources within NM • Contribute to higher education • Support community-based or CTSA research
