Other Issues

  • Other issues like unjust racial bias also come up:

But what about serial killers?

Larry Hall Wabash, IN

Green River Killer

Gary Ridgway

BTK Dennis Radar

Jeffrey Dahmer

Aileen Wuornos

Ted Bundy

Interesting Question?

  • Out of all of the serial killers I mentioned, how many actually got the death penalty for their crimes?

Conclusion

  • There are no easy answers in considering the death penalty.

  • There are problems with racism and the inhumanity of punishment, especially if it is later learned that we killed the wrong man.

  • But there is also the issue of the victims what should be done to vindicate their pain and their loved one’s loss.

  • It is for each of us to carefully decide what we should do about the death penalty.
