  4. Describing Data • What do you see? • Avoid judgments about quality or interpretations. • List observations for reference later.

  5. Interpreting the Data • What does the data suggest? • As you listen to each other’s interpretations, ask questions that help you better understand each other’s perspectives.

  6. Implications for Instruction • What are the implications of this survey? • What steps could be taken next? • What strategies might be most effective? • What does this conversation make you think about in terms of your own practice?

  7. Small Group Discussion • Organize into Groups of Three • Assign Roles: Facilitator, Time Keeper, Recorder • Open the School Climate Survey page of Pam Lindemer’s website • 2011 Results can be found under Resources
