  2. Compound Inequality • Two or more inequalities that are connected by the words and or or

  3. Intersection • The graph of a compound inequality containing the word and; the solution is the set of elements common to both inequalities. • ****TRUE ONLY IF BOTH INEQUALITIES ARE TRUE****

  4. Union • The graph of a compound inequality containing or; the solution is a solution of either inequality, not necessarily both • **** TRUE IF AT LEAST ONE OF THE INEQUALITIES IS TRUE****
