At Quattro, we chose to use Egyptian handmade and untreated copper bowls for several reasons. Our stand-alone copper pedicure bowls allow for thorough disinfection while copper is a naturally antimicrobial mineral. The bowls are BPA and toxin-free. Copper has also been described to have therapeutic benefits; soaking in ionized copper is said to provide relief of joint pain, inflammation, and even strengthen the immune system.
