LHS SBC Recommendation Vote YES for the Lynnfield High School Expansion Project Lynnfield High School Expansion Project • LHS is projected to be 220 students over capacity within 4 years • Lynnfield High School was built to accommodate 590 Students • The current High School population is 675 and is projected to be 815 by 2014 • 40-48% of the estimated $4.5 million cost will be reimbursed to Lynnfield upon final approval by the MSBA. The net cost to Lynnfield would be approximately $2.6 million. • Voters at the October 18 Town meeting and then the November ballot vote will decide if this project moves forward • Approval this fall will mean this project can be completed in 2012.
