  2. OAK (Quercus robur) Summergreen, large (up to 30-35 m) beech family tree with broad, forked crown. Reaching ages of 500 years. One of the most valuable tree in Latvia.

  3. LINDEN (tilia cordata) Linden family tree with broad crown. Reaching more than 30 m tall and 6 m girth. Reaching ages of 200-300 years. The flowers are usedfor preparing tea for a cold.

  4. PINE (Pinus sylvestris) Evergreen, reaching 45 m tall tree. The main tree species in Latvian forests. Reaches ages of 300 years. Amber - a stone, which has been formed from pine resin.

  5. DAISY(Leucanthemum vulgare) Perennial mid-size (about 20-70 cm) daisy family plant. Blooming in June and July. Widely spread in Latvia meadows.

  6. DANDELION (Taraxacum officinale) Perennial daisy family herb. Distributed in grasslands and meadows. Blooming from May to July, and sometimes even to October.

  7. LILAC(Syringa) One of the most popular Latvian decorative plant with dizzy smell. Blooming in late May and early June with purple and white blossoms.
