  1. Why Nitrogen Gas Generators use the Gas Chromatography Column Gas Chromatography column was a technique of separation by which the mixture of isolated volatile components depended on the mode of the partition between the stationary phase and the flowing mobile phase. The Nitrogen Gas Generators has gained the most important tools in the subject of Chemistry due to its effectiveness and simplicity. It was the technique that was used for the separation of the chemical components of the sample mixture and then it detects them for their presence or absence of the mixture.

Gas Chromatography Column • The principle of the Gas Chromatography column was this has the sample of solution which was injected into the instrument when enters a gas stream which was transports the sample into a tube of separation which was known as "column". (Nitrogen or Helium is used as the so-called carrier gas). • The Gas Chromatography columnhas two main columns: • Packed Column:  The packed columns are made from stainless steel and having a diameter of 0.64 or 0.32 cm, along with a length was 0.61-3.05 m. • Capillary Column: Capillary columns are not filled with the packing material; this was a thin film of liquid phase coats on its inner wall.

The principle of the Nitrogen Gas Generatorswas the operation of the nitrogen generator membrane was where the atmospheric air was compressed by an air compressor and passes a hollow fiber membrane, and filtering out the parts of air which was leaving behind a high purity of the nitrogen gas. 

  4. Why Nitrogen Gas generators are used in the GC Columns The gas which was carried by the Gas Chromatography is used to move the solutes through the Gas Chromatography Column. Many gases are used mostly; these are Helium, Hydrogen, and Nitrogen. The Nitrogen was mostly used in the GC because this provides the best efficient service, but the demerit of Nitrogen was that this was extremely slow. The other gas like Helium was also used and provides good efficiency, but this was very expensive for carrier gas. The carrier gas (mobile phase) for gas chromatography should be an inert gas that does not react with the sample components. The GC carrier gas should contribute minimally to the partitioning process. This differs from the mobile phase in liquid chromatography. In GC the carrier gas is simply stated as just a carrier to transport the vaporized solute molecules through the column during the partitioning process.
