  1. PART 2

  2. Mr. Yoginder Kataria BBA – HOD Message

  3. I have great pleasure in conveying my best wishes to all of you for making the students best in co-curricular activities while still making a consistent progress in academic. If I sit to count the activities of August the list contains • Curtain up – Cultural events • Guest Lecture – Entrepreneurship • Business Plan Competition • Industrial Visit – Yakult • Exploring the World of Wonders • Rakhi Competition • And above all the motivational session with an incredible personality Shree Navin Gulia • which all, I believe, would go a long way to speak for the BBA team for coordinated efforts with fruitful results.

  4. At the same time the first sessional were also conducted successfully and the results too compiled on time. This is a tribute to the standard of excellence in academics and commitment to quality education for PIET which is amongst the Top Colleges of Haryana, Delhi NCR and North India. I feel pride in enumerating the role played by the BBA faculty team in the overall development of the personality of the aspirants who also feel excellent being a part of this institute.

  5. Challenges and Opportunities are two sides of the same coin and I reiterate we have challenges on the discipline front and opportunities in the form of management support to implement and enforce things. I must add here that modern education, curriculum development and teaching methodologies have to keep pace with the demand of the economic environment. The manager, businessman and the entrepreneur of today needs many more weapons in armory. Holistic education should include all round development of a student.

  6. Overall development of the individual is the goal of education and we all have to ensure that there is no stone left unturned to equip the student of today for the challenges of life. This will require tremendous self-motivation on the part of all concerned but will be fulfilling for the student as well as the faculty. With this message I hope that we will be instrumental in upliftment of the institute with an optimum input. With best wishes Yoginder Kataria

  7. Editorial Team’s View This e-magazine is not just a news letter but also a talent explorer for the collegians. As you go through the college events and activities, these are all intended and design to excavate your hidden leadership skills, though this all is disguised as entertainment. It is an effective medium to spread the message around of what all we do which provides stronger legs to our institute, which is already in the list of Top Management Colleges in this region. While wishing you a season of festivity which just to knock at your doors, I would advise you to explore possibilities and challenges which are peculiar to college life, as this life is lived only once. There are no re-visits to this life. You should be able to single out and recognize your priorities with an emphasis on ‘questions of life’. Remember, to be the best mangers, questioning is the most effective tool.

  8. We at PIET are committed to cultivating the next generation of cultural leaders, citizens with moral values of life. College life is the era of decision taking, decisions that will guide them as they provide leadership throughout their adult years. • By the time this magazine is in your hands you would have gone though your first sessionals, which is an acid test of what you have learnt out of what has been delivered to you. Never take tests lightly because they make you what you want to become.
