ROS Report to TAC – 9/7/06Major Discussion Items at 8/10-11/06 ROS Nodal Operating Guides: Motion passed to maintain separate Operating Guides, as is done now, after Nodal begins, with simplified references. PRR 673 Adjust Scale Factor: Motion passed to endorse sliding scale with max value of 2 and a min value of 1. PRR 647 Gross and Net Reporting: Motion passed to endorse simplified OWG version. NERC Continuing Education Hours: Unanimous motion to endorse ERCOT support of CEH credit for Training Seminar and Black Start. Synchrophasor Project Endorsement: Motion passed to endorse ERCOT funding and participation. ERCOT Staffing / Resource Allocation: Unanimous motion that ERCOT seriously consider ongoing and future grid reliability when determining resources and priorities, and that TAC and the BOD be advised that improvements are needed.

  2. ROS Report to TAC – 9/7/06Items Requiring TAC Vote OGRR 186 EECP Realignment: Unanimous motion to adopt new EECP steps and operating actions, as previously shown to TAC. Unanimous motion to sponsor a draft PRR that adopts the provisions of OGRR 186 by reference. NPRR 003 Section 5: Unanimous motion to endorse with changes, to insure treatment of double circuit contingencies consistent with current practice. Principles of Consistency: Motion passed to endorse consistency document, and definition of annual planning model, brought forth by the joint TPTF/ROS TF. OGRR 181 Submission of Consistent Data: E-mail motion passed to endorse OWG version that now reflects the Principles of Consistency document TPTF Assignment - Definition of Simple Trans. Outage: Unanimous motion to endorse ERCOT proposal. TPTF Assignment – Optimal Frequency Bias: Unanimous motion to endorse PDCWG proposal, as amended.
