  1. The Report Card By: Katie K.

  2. My response The story starts of with the two main charters Nora and Stephen. They Just got there report card and Stephen is begging to see what Nora got on her report. He found on that Nora got all D’s except for a C in spelling. When she was a baby she was so smart, one time her sister Ann got out a 500 piece puzzle. And Nora new where all of the pieces of the puzzles went. Her mom calls all the kids down stairs to share their report cards. Of course Ann got all A’s and her brother Todd got all A’s but two B’s. Nora ends up never sharing her report card. That night she sleeps and the same chair she sat in that night her dad sees her grades. All of the teaches start to worry about her and get in a BIG concrence. She meets up with the giddiness consular and she gets a test called an IQ and her grade says she's a 16 year old. All of the teachers think she should go up one or even two grades. She and Stephen think that everyone is making a big fuss over grades and tests. So they start a rebellion to goin you have to get a zero on your next test. They get in a lot of trouble and are threatened to get soused for two weeks. And have to fix everything by talking to the 5th graders. At the end Nora does not get in trouble and stays in the 5th grade.

  3. MY Exploration For my exploration I brought in strawberry jam because in the book on report card day Nora’s mom makes a wonderful dinner and makes homemade strawberry jam on toast.
