Here’s why.  The PTE test fee is expensive. As of September 2018, it costs USD 205 (PHP 11,105.57). Even if you always have this amount on hand, it’s still a considerable setback.  The PTE’s booking, administration, and scoring processes take time. This could be a problem, particularly if your desired university or potential employer abroad has established a deadline for PTE results.

2.  Preparing with a PTE training program can help you guarantee test success. However, enrolling in one also quite expensive.  If you’re still studying in the university or working full-time, inserting PTE into your schedule can be a tall order. Don’t let these difficulties intimidate you. Enroll in a PTE center to get to know the test inside out and obtain excellent training materials. Don’t confine your English listening, reading, writing, and speaking practice inside the PTE classroom. Practice them as often as possible. You can: o browse the websites of international news organizations; o watch English films, programs, series, and documentaries; o mimic the way native English speakers talk; o listen to audiobooks and podcasts; o document your daily activities in a blog or journal; o talk to your friends and family in English; and o read books, magazines, newspapers, journals, and other forms of literature.

3.  Find a study buddy. Ideally, someone who is also planning to take the PTE exam. Studying with someone with the same goal will help you maintain your motivation and productivity. Review and rate each other’s practice test performances. Help each other crack complicated grammar rules and apply them to everyday discourse.  Focus on your linguistic weaknesses. Think your ability to comprehend speakers with strong accents need more work? Then, focus on improving it. Don’t disregard it in favor of further enhancing your other (already sharp) communicative skills. After all, having great essay-writing abilities won’t help you when you encounter a speaker with a prominent English accent. Maximize your preparation period. Accomplish many PTE training tasks in the shortest time possible by adopting these study strategies!
