  2. OVERVIEW • Feedback from the 2016/2017 Provincial Risk Dialogue • Progress made on the resolutions taken • Provincial Departments and Public Entities Together moving Bokone Bophirima forward.

FEEDBACK FROM THE PREVIOUS PROVINCIAL RISK RISK MANAGEMENT DIALOGUE • Dialogue held on 09 and 10 Nov 2017 under the theme “Radically transforming risk management towards speedy service delivery in the Province” • Event was attended by Departments, North West Provincial Legislature and Public Entities; • Resolutions were taken to improve effective implementation of Risk Management in the Province.

  4. SELF ASSESSMENT DIALOGUE 2017 The attendees recommended that: • The contents of presentations must address the real service delivery issues; • All relevant stakeholders together with political heads should attend the Dialogue; • Presentations should also focus on issues of Fraud Prevention, Ethical Standards/ Ethics and Code of conduct; and

  5. SELF ASSESSMENT DIALOGUE 2017 CONT… • Benchmarking with other provinces, Departments and National Departments. Concerns Raised: • Challenges such as” no budget and no capacity were commonly raised by departments and entities; • Risk management done for compliance but not for the benefit of service delivery; and • Presentations were not relevant to the theme.
