  4. ORGANIZATION • Binders - Bring home nightly -Replenish at mid-year • Homework folder -Important papers • Agenda -Check and sign every evening. They should have finished work to show you in their homework folder. • Monday folders -Sent home every Monday with graded work and important papers. It will be signed by teachers and parents and returned. Supply list will be sent home in 4th grade report cards.

  5. 5th Grade Supply List • 5th Grade Supply list for 2010-2011: • Zip-up binder (at least 2”) • -#2 pencils (2 packages) • -Colored pencils (1 pack) • -Post it notes • - Pens (blue or black only) • -Scissors • -Folders WITHOUT prongs (4-one green, one yellow, one red, one blue) • -Loose leaf paper (2 packs) • -Graph paper (1 pack) • -Highlighter • -Spiral notebooks (2 green, 2 yellow, 2 red, 2 blue) • -Zippered pencil pouch (with 3 holes) *****Optional-flash drive

It has printable workbook, practice, and re-teach pages as well as games. www.eduplace.com • An animated, interactive testing and learning site that gives K-12 students or any users an opportunity to self-assess their mathematics and science skills and to compare them to other students worldwide. The site also provides materials for self-improvement: practice opportunities, hints, and links to tutorials to help students do better. www.getsmarter.org • Practice math skills! http://www.kidsnumbers.com/ • Make learning math and word concepts fun by playing games with them. http://funschool.kaboose.com/ • Practice almost any math skill at home.
