  3. W=ΔK W=FdK= ½ mv2 Ug= mghKi + Ugi = Kf + Ugf½ mvi2 + mghi= ½ mvf2 + mghfm1v1 + m2v2 = v’ (m1 + m2)

  4. 3-5-14: A2 & A3– A LUNCH Test today. You have until the bell rings to complete the test. You may use your equation sheet and a sheet of handwritten equations as well. The sub has been instructed to come around and verify that there are no numbers on your handwritten sheet other than the few numbers that fall within the equations. If you were present on Tuesday or Thursday of last week, you must take the test. Turn in hand written equation page with test. Write your name on every page of the test. Give course card to sub. Sub give course card to Mr. Retherford next door.

  5. 3-5-14: A4 Today you will be taking the work and power test. The equations needed will be on the screen. After you take the test, you should be working on the assignment given in class on Friday. When you return from spring break you will be given a quiz over the assignment that can be used as an optional test grade. (show the next slide during the test)

  7. 3-6-14: 1st, 2nd, and 4thYou have 30 minutes to answer the following questions (ch 14). When finished, keep your answers and turn them in after spring break. What causes a wave? List two types of waves and give examples of each. Draw a transverse wave and label: crest, trough, amplitude, and wavelength Differentiate between period and frequency of a wave without the use of equations. Define interference. Differentiate (with words and pictures) between destructive and constructive interference. Describe through words and pictures the following terms: standing wave, diffraction, refraction, reflection, resonance, doppler effect 1st block: spend the rest of the period quietly working on other homework or reading. You can not leave this classroom. B2 and B4 go to next slide
