Solar Net International Association Solar Net International • Founded in 2005 by teachers, students and former students at Schillergymnasium Münster • Emerged from a Schoolexchangeproject with Namibia and Poland • Aim: Promote a sustainable intercultural exchange beyond scholar projects and connect young people all over the world

Solar Net International Pillars • Education: Support of intercultural learning processes in local groups and international student meetings. • Environment: Raising attention for environmental themes through local and international activities and campaigns. • Social Responsibility: Encouraging the social responsibility and supporting a sustainable development in local projects worldwide.

  4. Internetforum Solar Net International • Opened in summer 2005 • initiated as a platform for project partners of Solar Net • difficulties to find new partners in foreign countries through the internet • new development since 2007: • Language courses rise attention for Solar Net

  6. >3000 registered members from 130 nations • 300 – 800 posts per day • about 100 members online each day • 15.000 page views per day • new members join daily
