  1. Rockhampton Red Cross Volunteer Information Session Invitation Have you thought of becoming a volunteer? Do you have a few minutes, a couple of hours or a day to spare each week? Been looking for a way to give back to your community? Want to help out in an emergency? Rockhampton Red Cross invites community members to a Volunteer Information Session which will provide an opportunity to showcase the different ways to help vulnerable people within the community. Come along and have a cuppa and talk to staff and volunteers about the ways you can become involved with Red Cross in Rockhampton. 10am -12 noon Saturday 16th February 2013 Walali Neighbourhood Centre 14b Cambridge Street Rockhampton Local volunteering opportunities include: Accommodation, Administration, Bridges back to the community for those socially isolated, Emergency Services, Breakfast Club, Hands on Care, Mobility Equipment Hire, PHaMS- Walali Neighbourhood Centre, Retail shop, Save a Mate program, Telechat and Telecross phone support for isolated people. Red Cross is keen to talk with you about your skills and interests to best match you to a volunteer role.
