    4. Daily Assessment (40%) I. Assignment 1. Writing Word Limits: about 150 words Frequency: Twice per theme 2. English Builder (Online homework) Duration: about 1 hour per week 3. Others e.g. Worksheet, Listening, Newspaper Clipping (to be decided by your English teacher)

    5. Uniform Test (20%) + Examination (40%) Content: Target vocabulary items Target grammar items 2. Frequency: once a term (refer to school calendar)

    6. Allocation of Lessons (8 lessons a week)

    7. Reading 1. 6 assigned readers (swap among all English classes) Home reading Frequency: 1 reader a month Checkpoints to check understanding 2. Extra readers in the school library (read a certain number of books required by all subject teachers)
