  5. Vocabulary Centimeters: In the metric system, centimeters are 1/100th of a Meter. Observation: Data that has been recorded. Opaque / Transparent / Translucent: Something that can be seen through; ghosts are opaque/transparent/translucent. Metric System: The system of measurements used in science and the rest of the world.
