  3. Keys To Success • Keep up with class work and remember that a deadline is a deadline. • Be in school- labs are the student’s responsibility and must be completed in class. • Study for tests and quizzes • Keep a nice notebook, it counts as a grade • Communicate with the teacher and ask for help if they are struggling with the material. WE ALL NEED HELP SOMETIMES

  4. Late Work • It is the students responsibility to meet with the teacher to discuss any work that was missed while they were absent from class Example: If you were absent for two days, you then have two days to make up the late work • Due to the length/time of various labs, it may require the student to make up labs outside of regular class time • If the student forgets about an assignment or chooses not to complete it, they will receive a zero for that assignment. This means that no late work (outside of approved absences) will be accepted!

  5. Grading • Responsibility and Participation:(50points) Be prepared for class with all necessary class materials Proper Behavior Points are deducted based on frequency & severity of incidents Participation in classroom discussion & observations • Notebook:(100points) Required to keep index up to date Notebook should be neat and orderly Checked at end of marking period

  6. Grading • Tests and Quizzes: Point values vary according to amount & type of material covered • Lab Assignments: Participation is required by all lab partners Lab intensity will dictate point value Proper lab clean up • Homework: Will be assigned to reinforce lesson content
