    4. FALLACIOUS REASONING Premise 1: Most American cats are domestic house cats. ?Premise 2: Bill is an American cat. ?Conclusion: Bill is a domestic house cat

    5. ANOTHER EXAMPLE John is tall. All tall boys are good at basketball. John is good at basketball.

    6. FACTUAL ERROR The United States is in Africa. Los Angeles is the capital of California. Mr. Morales wrote Star Wars.

    7. INDUCTIVE FALLACY Just arriving in California, I saw a white dog. All dogs in California are white.

    8. ANOTHER EXAMPLE I encountered a rude person in New York City. All people in New York City are rude.

    9. DEDUCTIVE FALLACY If Chino is the capital of California, then it’s in California. Chino is the capital of California.

    10. ANOTHER EXAMPLE If drinking milk makes you taller, and I drink milk. I will grow to 6-7.
