D*C*C* Simplified Inspection Program • Simplified Inspection Program "SIP" is a "low cost" Tank Inspection program, and designed as a "simple to use, simple to read" program. • SIP is designed to make the process of tank condition inspections and reporting easy for crew and superintendents • covers WBT incl. FPT/APT, Cargo Tanks, Cargo Holds, FWT, Technical tanks, Slops etc. Reports confirms with IMO PSPC Please allow us to present to you our version of a practical tool for documenting your „in-service tank inspections” -- It only takes 3 min. --

  2. D*C*C* Simplified Inspection Program 3: SAVE SKETCH BY ADD UNIQUE TANK NUMBER. PRINT A COPY OF SKETCH FOR TAKE NOTES AT INSP. 1: START PROGRAM ONLY FIRST TIME ENTER ENCRYPTED KEY FILE FROM LOCATION WHERE YOU SAVED IT THE KEY FILE CONTAINS VESSEL NAME, IMO No., WHICH THEN APPEARS IN ALL REPORT HEADERS 2: CHOOSE TANK TYPE FROM LIST. CREATE SKETCH OF TANK FOR INSP, BY ADD BULKHEADS AS PR TANK PLAN.

  3. D*C*C* Simplified Inspection Program 4: NOW ENTER THE TANK (SORRY BUT YOU STILL HAVE TO DO THIS YOURSELVES) BRING THE SKETCH FOR TAKE NOTES, MARK LOCATIONS FOR DEFECTS IF ANY. KEEP IN MIND PROCEDURES FOR SAFE CONFINED SPACE ENTRY WHICH tanks to inspect, then?? Once installed and sketches made, there will begeneratedan automatic ”Montly Update” list on tank status, easy to follow REMEMBER: BE PREPARED! Lights, camera and gas meter charged? Frame No’s already on your sketch – maybe useful to add locations of misc. outfit items, e.g. gauges, valves, plugs, for easy ID during insp?

  4. D*C*C* Simplified Inspection Program 6: Now enter all your findings. Corrosion % in each box, use red dots for specific defects. All as pr. manual. Good/fair/poor rating fills in automatically. 5: AFTER inspection, back to the computer - Go to OPEN SAVED SKETCH, mark your tank, Open Go Page 2: Tick check-boxes for anodes, pipes etc., add comments, photos. Addmore photos at pg. 3 if required

D*C*C* Simplified Inspection Program 7: On completion of reporting, click Save Final Report – Congrats, now you’re done with this tank.Ready for filing next inspection, by choose Open Saved Sketch for new entry. You can always open any saved pdf file from menu; click Show Final Report, mark a saved file for view or for print, file hard copy Finally, atnext slide you see anexampleof report with additional (optional) photo page, and stats page, in this caseas after 3 inspections

D*C*C* Simplified Inspection Program The SIP is installed on desktop onboard, and features anautomatic ”alarm”which can send emailonce pr. month, to your prefered email address, with a report of completedinspections, incl. highlight of any tanks due for annual inspection as pr.
