  4. Implementation • Experiential Ed Site Selection • Student eligibility and preparation • Learning agreement between school and site • Learning experience supervision/instruction • Faculty-student communication • Faculty responsibility, time, compensation

  5. Assessment and Evaluation • Credit awarded • Grading criteria • Assessment methods • New models of evaluation, including badging, competency-based, Prior Learning Assessment, OER and others

  6. Establishing Administrative Structures To support: • Site visits • Listing and display of site sponsorships • Alumni involvement in educational opportunities and mentorship

  7. Policies, Guidelines, Accreditation • SUNY Policies • Middle States • New York State Ed. Department • Discipline-specific accreditation

  8. Open SUNY The Open SUNY Experiential Education bridge connecting students, the academy and the world outside the classroom. FACT2 Recommendations: Build a campus and online EE community Support faculty development for EE Review/update credit and grading criteria Identify campus support needed Encourage alumni participation
