  4. As of August 2010, all cargo transported on a passenger aircraft is required by the 9/11 Act to be screened for explosives. Naturally, many shipping companies don’t have a large enough need to justify purchasing cargo screening equipment or training their employees to recognize explosive devices. That is why facilities such as ours exist, to minimize your cost while still ensuring full compliance with the law and protecting the lives of American citizens. RoadEx Cargo Services, Inc. is a warehousing and Independent Cargo Screening Facility (ICSF) located in the San Francisco bay area. Only five miles away from the SFO airport and just twenty miles from the Port of Oakland, RCS is perfectly positioned to meet your every shipping need. From breaking down and separating your drayage containers to storing or moving your merchandise, RoadEx Cargo Services can do it all. We can screen your cargo, secure and prepare it for pickup or have it delivered to the airport via our own fleet through RoadEx America or RoadEx CY.

  5. CFS – A Container Freight Station helps to expedite the verification and security of materials in the container before it reaches the port. It not only saves the customer time, it verifies that the customer has followed all necessary security protocols and ensures the safety and quality of the cargo to be shipped.

  6. CCSF – It is now the law to have cargo to be shipped aboard a passenger aircraft screened. To reduce wait times and congestion at air terminals, companies can apply for certification to perform all necessary security scans. A Certified Cargo Screening Facility is TSA-certified to screen cargo for shippers off-site, so that upon delivery to the air terminals it can be loaded aboard the aircraft immediately. RoadEx Cargo Services is an ICSF.

  8. 3PL Solutions STORAGE (4 Wall) – As a warehousing facility, we provide short- and long-term storage, 3PL services for all materials received at our docks. Our partnership with Datex allows us to accurately track and record your inventory, and provides tools for our customers to check their inventory in our convenient online web portal.
