  2. The EURISOL status report • The Task Group reports are to be supplied as Appendices to the EURISOL Report, and are now at the Printer. Proofs will be received shortly, and printing should take place during December 03. • The main document, "The EURISOL Report" itself is almost complete, and will be circulated to the EURISOL Steering Committee members for final comment and corrections, and will then be printed in early January 2004. • 600 copies of the Report plus the 5 separate companion volumes of the Appendices will be mailed out thereafter. A CD version will also be available, together with the report, and also separately.

BLUMENFELD) IS APPOINTED BY THE EURISOL STEERING COMMITEE AT THE ORSAY MEETING) • END OF JULY THE CALL FOR COLLECTING LETTERS OF INTEREST TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EURISOL. DS IS LAUNCHED. • SEPTEMBER 20th FOURTY LETTERS OF INTERERST FROM ABOUT 20 DIFFERENT INSTITUTIONS ARE COLLECTED BY THE WRITING GROUP. • OCTOBER 2nd,3rd AT THE EURISOL STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING HELD AT LNL 11 DIFFERENT TASKS ARE IDENTIFIED AND THE TASKS LEADERS APPOINTED. • NOVEMBER 14th AT ORSAY FIRST OPEN MEETING OF THE TASK LEADERS WITH THE WRITING GROUP. A PROVISIONAL WORK PLANNING OF THE VARIOUS TASKS IS PRESENTED AND DISCUSSED.

Preparation o f the Eurisol.ds Proposal:Important milestones YEAR 2004 • JANUARY 8th DEADLINE FOR THE PREPARATION OF AN ADVANCED DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS CONTAINING: WORK PLANNING, MILESTONES, DELIVERABLES AND REQUESTED RESOURCES. • JANUARY 26th PARIS: JOINT MEETING OF THE WRITNG GROUP AND THE EURISOL STEERING COMMITTE TO EXAMINE THE STATUS OF THE PROPOSAL AND ITS GLOBAL COHERENCE. • FEBRUARY 16tH CERN: OPEN MEETING OF THE WRTITING GROUP AND THE TASK LEADERS FOR THE UPDATE OF THE PROPOSAL DRAFT
