  9. BTSA Eligibility • LAUSD Classroom or Qualifying Charter School Contracted Teacher • Holder of a California Preliminary Teaching Credential • Charter must have a MOU on file

Which Program? • Charters within Education Service Centers (ESCs) North, South, East and West • LAUSD BTSA • Charters within ESC South (Formerly LD 7) Pilot Program – Year 2 participants only • Full Time Release Mentors (FAS) • If new hires in the ESC South Pilot Schools • Please see Denise Busby

Program Offerings 2013-14 • Full Induction Program Year I • Full Induction Program Year II • Early Completion Option (ECO) = accelerated one year program • must submit application by 9/28/13 • must be accepted into program according to criteria • must attend mandatory informational session following orientation

Program Requirements Orientation for each semester course Four semesters Completion of Formative Assessment for each course (FACT) Electronic portfolio submission Feedback provided by co-instructors Seminar* each semester Attend Colloquium each year Completion of required surveys each year State Local (LAUSD) BTSA Support (optional activity) *Year II participants complete an alternate activity

  13. Experience as a teacher of record Intern or two years or more experience Fulltime assignment with LAUSD or qualifying Charter School Submission of Application by deadline Attendance at Orientation & ECO Information Session Early Completion Option (ECO)Eligibility

EZ Access For Non-LAUSD/Charter Employees • Account Request For Non-LAUSD Employees The EZ Access System enables Non-LAUSD/Charter school employees to apply for a District Single Sign-On (SSO) and reactivate expired/inactivate SSO account electronically via the web. An SSO account provides Non-LAUSD/Charter school employees with a single login and password to access additional LAUSD, web-based, applications (Welligent, ISIS, My Data, etc.). EZ Access allows for faster and easier access, for both the users submitting requests and the administrators authorizing requests.Please proceed to the links below to begin or review the following guides: • EZ Access Quick Start Guide (For Site Administrators) • EZ Access Quick Start Guide (for Teachers, Service Providers, or other Users)
