Slide 5: Became a member of The Palm Beach County Chapter of The Charmettes, September 1994 Served as Vice President for seven years Served as President for various years and is presently serving a second term Took a leadership role in organizing the 2006 National Convention for The Charmettes held in West Palm Beach Charmettes liaison with Sojourner Healing Hearts (Breast Cancer Survivors) Leader of Membership Intake 2003 & 2007 Established a Phone tree (message delivery system - Voice of Charmettes) 2000 – Present As President, encouraged participation in Susan G. Komen “Race for the Cure”, Relay for life, and American Cancer Society Walkathon Under my leadership the First Annual “Male Splendor Fashion Extravaganza” was initiated to enhance male self esteem and encourage community service.
