  2. Kien il-lejl ta’ Ħelowin,meta jien mort ġo dar tal-fatati. Miegħi ħadt il-qattusa. Ġod- dar kien hemm fatat kbir . Meta l- qattusa rat il- fatat qabżet fuqi u jien bdejt ngħajjat u nwerżeq. Kien hemm il- friefet il-lejl,ħġieġ imkisser,brimb , bieb jingħalaq u jinfetaħ wahdu. Jien tghidx kemm bżajt u għajjat! Xammejt riħa stramba u smajt ġurdien iwerżaq. Ħasejt il-brimb nieżel fuq wiċċi. Jien ma ridx nibqa’ ġo dik id-dar. Għalekk tlaqt nigri ‘l barra u qatt aktar m’erġajt mort hemm ġew.
