  6. Innovators readily understand and apply complex technical knowledge about the intervention, cope well with uncertainty, are risk takers, and willing to “launch” new ideas about the intervention. Early adopters can exert strong “opinion leadership” in local community, serve as role models, and convey credible subjective evaluation of the intervention.   7. Early majority will follow early adopters willingly and can provide important connections within community networks. Late majority will follow others when system norms favor the intervention and uncertainty about the intervention has been reduced or eliminated.
