Location • San Rafael is located near San Francisco bay. • The mission has a Hospital, church, and a cemetery. • All missions are built near water that’s why San Rafael is near The San Francisco Bay.
Design and Layout The mission has a Hospital, Church, A Cemetery, and Friars’ Quarters. The church seen today was built in 1840.
Mission Life Native Americans Mission Life During the day men would work in the fields. During the day the women would weave baskets, table cloths, and other things. The kids were not taken care of right. • The Native Americans were on a strict schedule every day. • Every day was like prison to them only with good food. • Bells represented when to do the right job.
