G-Rob 1D ■ G-Rob 1D replaces both the changing device and the goniometer, ■ It also enables to collect data along any chosen axis, ■ It was designed to handle the classical cryo-cooled samples (ESRF/EMBL standard), as well as several other standards. G-Rob, in the “G-Rob 1D” configuration, is handling frozen crystals for crystallography data collection Lab. Setup (includes also the plate screening) G-Rob transfering samples of different formats from a storage Dewar to the X-Ray beam G-Rob collecting data with any orientation of the spindle axis, for a better strategy of data collection The G-Rob systems are produced by NatX-ray (www.natx-ray.com) and distributed by IRELEC (www.irelec.com)

An example of achievements using G-Rob 1D Comparison of data collected on FIP-B30A with the goniometer G-Rob 1D resolution: 30-1.9 Å (2.0-1.9 Å) completness: 96.8% (96.9%) I/(I): 12 (3.8) Rsym: 9.8% (37.2%) resolution: 30-1.9 Å (2.0-1.9 Å) completness: 98.2% (97.3%) I/(I): 16 (7.3) Rsym: 6.0% (16.9%) Data were collected on the same lysozyme crystal (but not necessarily with the same orientation). Space group is: p43212. Values between brackets are for the last resolution shell. Sphere of confusion 12 micron diam. => OK for labs and BM beamlines • Questions: • What is the best strategy for Phi data collection • Is there a software to help for that? • What are the best software for data reduction in this case • Etc…
