  4. Home/School Partnership Maintain & develop first language. Ask your child about their day & LISTEN. Encourage responsibility. Ensure early bedtime.

Opportunities for parental support include: • Ensuring your child is at school • Asking your child to share their home learning with you and encourage them to explain their thinking. • Volunteering as the PTA class parent in your child’s class. • Volunteering to assist with group learning in a class. • Attending class presentations and assemblies. • Volunteering to take a mother-tongue reading group.

Talk to your child Check the school website and PYP documents Check the Primary Blog Read school sent emails Collect your child’s report, read it and discuss it with them Talk to/email your child’s teacher Read the class/year blog or newsletter Talk to/email the Primary Leadership Team Explore the ibo website (www.ibo.org) Go to PTA meetings
