Kangaroo Jack??? Did you know that Kangaroo Jack was shot in Australia?? Either did I, and I doubt it really was. The funny thing is that there are more things to do or discover in this country than most people think. The food, outback, beaches, and the overall nature of this continent is overwhalmingly different than all others.
Go see a play! =D The interesting part of this picture is that the historical building has many different purposes. The Sydney Opera house has held many upon many famous recordings throughout it’s history. This amphitheatre not only are the entrance steps 100 meters wide, but its structural design was the first of its time era. (1957-present)
Its surrounded by the ocean! =D Whether or not you like the ocean is not my worry… it’s what you do in the water. Wind surfing and just surfing are the most popular in Australia, but there are many other things to do besides that. Scuba diving and deep see diving are also fairly approachable. Many tourist just like to be on there magnificent beaches.
Magnificent hikes! =D The highest point on the mainland, Mount Kosciuszko, is only 2228 meters. Apart from Antarctica, Australia is the driest continent. Australia is the driest inhabited continent on earth. Its interior has one of the lowest rainfalls in the world and about three-quarters of the land is arid or semi-arid. Its fertile areas are well-watered, however, and these are used very effectively to help feed the world

RUGBY!!! There has been much re-organisation in NRL competition history. There was the New South Wales Rugby League (dating back to 1908), the Australian Rugby League, Super League and then finally the NRL. teams will play 8 games to a round, over 25 rounds. The winner of each game will be awarded 2 points on the NRL ladder. The season will commence mid-March and carry through till September. At the end of the season the top 8 teams on the NRL ladder qualify for the finals series.

Cricket anybody??? The Ashes cricket series is played between the English and Australian test sides. Dating back to 1882, The Ashes is one of the most celebrated rivalries in international cricket and is fiercely fought over a 5-test series. To date, there has been a total of 63 Ashes series played, of which Australia has won 31 and England has won 27 - the remaining five series were drawn. The series are played in Australia and England alternatively, and each match is generally played at a different cricket ground.
Some funnn facts!!! • Apparently the first European settlers in Australia drank more alcohol per person than any other community in the history of mankind. Australian mines (one of our most important industries, which accounts for 15% of Australia's GDP) cover 0.02% of Australia's land mass. More land is occupied by pubs. (Can't find any statistics on the GDP here. My guess is: substantial) In 1954 Bob Hawke made it into the Guinness Record Book: he sculled 2.5 pints of beer in 11 seconds. AMP Tower Standing at 305m (1001ft) high, Sydney Tower is the tallest building in Sydney.
