The 2012 Olympics • NBC spent $1.18 billion for the U.S. broadcast rights to the 2012 Olympics. • They received 5,535 broadcast hours of programing which is equal to 7 1/2 months' worth of programing. • The Olympics could be seen on the national NBC network, eight cable channels -- NBC Sports Network, MSNBC, CNBC, Bravo, Telemundo, two specialty channels, and one 3-D channel -- and live online at NBCOlympics.com.
