Today, you need: Pen or pencil Laptop Notebook paper You have five minutes - On a sheet of notebook paper, answer the following questions in complete sentences. Heading - Sub How did the classes go on Thursday & Friday? When we have a sub, what do I (Mrs. Yarbar) need to have in place to make things run more smoothly? What do you need to do? What does a sub need to do? Below that, list the THREE most interesting facts about your research topic (in your opinion). Then, answer this question: Why might someone disagree with your opinion? OT Today! • If you were absent any last week, ensure that you get • your assignments from my Wikipage. The last day to make up a missed quiz from last Tuesday (3/29) will be Wednesday (4/6)- before or after school!

On an index card: • Write your complete heading in the upper, right corner. • Return to the online Thesis builder from Thursday. • Online Thesis Builder • Use the site to create a thesis statement for your topic. Be sure to keep your three areas parallel. Remember to implement the information learned about thesis. ( Look back at the slideshow if necessary.) • After deciding on your thesis, write it on your card. 4/4 *Before you leave today , be sure that I have gone over your thesis with you. The last day to make up a missed quiz from Tuesday (3/29) will be Monday (4/4)- before or after school!

Once I have approved your thesis statement: Go back to your hotlist and add at least three more questions and sources for those questions (including databases and e-books) that apply to the three points in your thesis. Once I have approved your thesis statement: Go back to your hotlist and add at least three more questions and sources for those questions (including at least one more database and/or and e-book) These MUST apply to the three points in your thesis. Highlight new database in green.

  6. ‘hhh Bellringer 4/7 Today, you need: Pen or pencil Laptop • Have your thesis work from yesterday on your desk if I • have not yet approved it. • Type your aproved thesis statement on a word • document, save as Pd.Thesis.Name. • Highlight opposing statement in yellow, opinion in blue, first point in green, second point in red, and third point in purple. • Pick up eighteen (18) index cards. If you were absent yesterday, you need to make up Plagiarism and Thesis quiz by Friday. Once I have approved your thesis statement: Go back to your hotlist and add at least three more questions and sources for those questions (including at least one more database and/or and e-book) These MUST apply to the three points in your thesis. Highlight new database in green. Save as pd.hotlist2.name & drop—due today.
