Upcoming Game Releases of December 2023 If you are a Switch fan, then get ready for some exciting games! Outer Wilds, a beautifully crafted time-travel adventure, is coming to Switch. And if you are a Pokemon enthusiast, then you can look forward to the second expansion for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Additionally, for Switch, there's a new Dragon Quest game on the way. Check out the highlights and the complete list of upcoming games to make sure you don't miss out! All the upcoming games that are going to be released in the month of December are jotted below; SteamWorld Build (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, PC) - December 1 In the new game from Thunderful's SteamWorld series, the makers are changing things up. Instead of the usual steampunk robot adventures, this time, it's all about

  2. building a city. The local folks want to build a rocket and head to a better world, and in SteamWorld Build, it's your job to create a lively town and gather the stuff needed for space travel. You won't just be building above ground – you will also go underground to mine for resources, find spaceship parts, and deal with dangerous monsters trying to mess up your plans. Born of Bread (Switch, PC) - December 5 Born of Bread is an RPG adventure like Paper Mario, and you don't need a special sense of humor to enjoy it. It's releasing on December 5 for PC and consoles, and it seems like a fun game, especially for kids. Don't forget to check it out – maybe leave yourself a note. It's a game that looks like a lot of fun! Disney Dreamlight Valley (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, PC) - December 5 After being in early access for over a year, Disney Dreamlight Valley is finally ready for a full release. Unlike many games today, this one isn't free to play; you will need to buy it. The developer, Gameloft, promises to keep adding new stuff regularly after the launch. Think of it as a mix of Disney-themed Animal Crossing and The Sims. It's been successful so far, and if you are into it, consider getting the Cozy edition for some extra in-game goodies. Kingpin Reloaded (PC) - December 5 The original Kingpin game was bold with its intense violence, strong language, and gritty art style. Now, years later, Slipgate Ironworks, the developer, has made what they call an "enhanced re-release" of this classic revenge story. Like before, you take control of the streets, build a gang, and use your shady gains to stay ahead. This version has cool stuff like 4K resolution, support for ultrawide screens, and better graphics to really highlight the grimy urban world you are navigating. If you genuinely like to play fun games online, then you must give this game a shot. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC) - December 7 Ubisoft and open-world games are like a perfect match, similar to how lungs need oxygen. Many games from this French company are based on this style. Massive Entertainment, part of Ubisoft, is creating a game in the Avatar world, sticking to the open-world style but adding some cool new ideas. The PS5 version is looking good too, with lots of special effects that make the alien world feel even more interesting, thanks to the haptic feedback.

  3. Plumbers Don't Wear Ties: Definitive Edition (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, PC) - December 8 Plumbers Don't Wear Ties is often called one of the worst video games ever, but its story is really interesting. It started as a passion project just for the fun of it. Now, the team at Limited Run Games is giving it a modern makeover. The new version of this CD-ROM classic has super clear 4K pictures and lots of behind- the-scenes stuff, including interviews and a look at the main character, Jeanne "Jane" Basone. Pokemon Scarlet And Violet: The Hidden Treasure Of Area Zero – The Indigo Disk (Switch) - December 14 The latest Pokemon game, Scarlet and Violet, brought some cool and big changes to the usual “catch-'em-all” style. Even though it has some technical issues, fans really liked the cozy Teal Mask expansion. Now, in the second part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, Pokemon is going high-tech with The Teal Mask. Blueberry Academy is the place to check out. There's a new wild area with old Pokemon to catch, and the focus on 2v2 battles makes things more challenging compared to regular Pokemon games. Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising (PS5, PS4, PC) - December 14 This year has been awesome for big fighting game series like Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1. Even though Tekken 8 is coming in January 2024, you can still end the year with Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. It's an anime-style fighting game that's super cool with lots of action. It's the easiest one in the series, perfect for new players, with a simple control scheme for cool moves. It has a cool story and online stuff to do, and you can even make your own dioramas. And the best part for fans? It is one of the most exciting free online games for kids and adults. Cookie Cutter (PC, Xbox Seriues X|S, PS5) - December 14 Imagine blending Japanese manga, HP Lovecraft, and Quentin Tarantino movies together. That's exactly what Cookie Cutter does – it's a cool mix of fury and chainsaws in a special hand-drawn 2D Metroidvania world. You play as Cheery, an angry android determined to save her creator using the most brutal methods. Climb a huge Megastructure in a dark future, take down tons of enemies, and get ready for a stylish side-scrolling game with blood levels akin to Mortal Kombat.

  4. Resident Evil 4 (iPhone 15, Macs and iPads with M1 or better) - December 20 A great Resident Evil game did well on the new iPhone 15 Pro, and now one of the best games in the series is coming to Apple's latest phone. It's exciting to think about experiencing a full Resident Evil adventure on the new iPhone. The Resident Evil 4 remake will also be playable on Macs and iPads with M1 chipsets or better on the same day. Heads Up: With Pocketsinfull, you can play free online games to earn money.
