  5. WKU “Rules of Travel”

  6. Before You Go Please send your signed travel request form (pre-authorization) to Glenda White BEFORE your trip and before you use the procard.

  7. When You Return Bring all receipts and a summary of when you left and returned, and reason for the trip (no abbreviations) to Glenda to get reimbursed.

  8. You do not need receipts for meals BUT you do need the per diem sheet that you print out with your reimbursements.  You can NO longer get reimbursed for tips (on meals, taxi, etc) as the cost of your meals per day has been increased to cover that.

  9. PLEASE do not fill out the online travel sheet yourself, Glenda will do this for you.  Account numbers have to be entered and the amount calculated automatically.

  10. After you sign your travel form, it will take about 2 weeks for it to process.  If you have not received an email about direct deposit, please contact Glenda and she will check on the status.

  11. But wait! There’s more: If you are out of town or work out of town and can’t get here to sign your travel form, send Glenda an email saying you give her permission to sign for you.

  12. DLSC faculty can call first when filling out the pre-authorization form to see if they have funds left or need to secure additional funds from the dean, dept. head or use personal funds.
