It is recognized as a symbol of love all around the world because of its history. It is because it was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj after she died in 1631 during childbirth. He does not want to fade away the memories of his wife Mumtaj mahal. so, he built the Taj mahal as a symbol of their never ending love. This white marble mausoleum shows Shahjahan’s love towards his wife Mumtaj and that’s why couples love visiting Taj Mahal with their loved ones. He named this amazingly beautiful mausoleum Mumtaj Mahal. MATHURA Mathura is one of the favourite places of Lord Shri Krishna devotees.
