  6. Policy 2.3.4 • Delegation of responsibility • Senior Vice President for A&F to • Associate Vice President of PDC (Planning + Design + Construction/University Architect) or • Designee • Confer with Chief Investment Officer and Investment Committee when appropriate

  7. Roles and Responsibilities • University employees • Contact PDC in writing when • Contemplating physical expansion • Need to acquire, sell, lease, dispose, or manage any type of real property • Do NOT enter into real estate or real property transactions, contracts, agreements

  8. Roles and Responsibilities • PDC • Negotiate property acquisitions, sales, leases, disposals or management of real estate or real property on behalf of the university • Refer to the university master plan • In compliance or • Further objectives of university’s mission

  9. Procedure • For any real estate or real property transaction or cancellation of transaction • Org unit submits Real Estate Services Request Form to PDC prior to any formal action • PDC acts on behalf of university in conjunction with requesting agency • If Board of Trustees approval required, PDC provides recommendation to Senior VP for A&F for submission to Board • When transaction is completed, PDC retains executed documents; provides copies to • Affected org unit(s) • General Counsel
