  2. PENDAHULUAN • LATAR BELAKANG Tanaman langsat merupakan buahtropisberiklimbasah, didugaberasaldari Indonesia (Kalimantan Timur) dan Malaysia kemudianmenyebarke Vietnam, Myanmar danIndia. Namalain dari langsat: AglailadookoBriffatauAglailadomesticum (Corr) Pelegrin

  3. TUJUAN Mengetahui teknik budidaya langsat di Kelurahan PAAL 9 Kec. Kakap Kab. Kubu Raya

  4. METODE KERJA • Tempat survei: Jl. Kakap, Kelurahan PAAL 9, Kec. Sungai Kakap, Kab. Kubu Raya. • Petani/penangkar tanaman: H. Muhtar Abu • Waktu survei: tanggal 17 Maret 2012 • Teknik survei: mewawancarai secara langsung petani

  5. HASIL SURVEI • TEKNIK BUDIDAYA LANGSAT • PEMBIBITAN Ada 2 cara pembibitan langsat, vegetatif dan generatif. Secara vegetatif berupa cangkok, sambung pucuk, dan okulasi. Cara ini setelah dicoba, tidak berhasil (tanaman mati). Secara generatif yaitu menggunakan biji. Cara ini menghasilkan bibit tanaman yang dapat tumbuh dengan baik.

  6. Sambungan pembibitan • Bibit langsat diambil langsung dari kebun petani sendiri, yang kemudian dimasukkan dalam polibag. • Bibit yang diambil di bawah pohon induk dengan tinggi sekitar setengah meter. • Media tanam dalam polibag berupa campuran antara tanah gambut, sekam bakar, dan tanah PMK.

  7. b) PENANAMAN • Bibit yang ditanam setelah mencapai tinggi sekitar 2 meter. • Untuk mencapai tinggi 2 m, dapat memakan waktu yang cuku lama, sekitar 5 tahun. • Dalam penanaman, lobang tanam jangan terlalu dalam, agar akar samping cepat muncul.
