  2. Measuring Right Ventricle from Short Axis Image in Diastole • The RV is a difficult structure to measure in short axis (SA) • Start at the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) • Look for pulmonary artery (PA) and the beginning of RV • Terminate at apex

  3. Measuring Right Ventricle from Short Axis Image in Systole • Systolic images of the heart • Yellow represents endocardial borders of RV • Heart is in peak contraction
