DOCLINE 6 - “Month 1” - by the numbers Since March 4: • 102,598 requests placed • 85,147 (83%) PMID initiated • 91,751 filled • Fill Rate: 89.5% • 0 requests misrouted by routing algorithm • 1,748 updates were made to Library Profiles • 440 new accounts were applied for • 9 releases of additional functionality

Library Information & Settings • Switch Library • Updated Library Profile  • Contacts • On import all assigned all roles • ILL contact required • ILL contact used by “Lend Alert” email notifications • Lend Alerts - Rush & Urgent Patient Care set to yes • Delivery Method(s) modified • International Offerings – reset

  4. Bits & Pieces • Type-ahead/auto-suggest menus • paste LIBID or ...click 'n' type • No need to scroll through pulldown menu • Retired Requests display • Quick access to recent requests • Receipting Lend Requests • Yes it is different

  5. Journals & Holdings • New holdings fields • Access to: Epub Ahead of Print, Supplements • Planned for integration into Holdings Search Filters, routing algorithm • No connection for • OCLC batch • LinkOut

Requesting options • Now 3 ordering/routing Options • PMID / completely filled in with article and journal information, routes automatically • Journal UI / Journal information gets filled in automatically, but article specifcs manually input. Routes automatically • Manual bibliographic & citation information / Manual routing • Same routing tables and principals as original • Prepopulate Borrow defaults in Library Profile

  7. Routing Changes • Routing Patterns have changed • ‘Resource Library’ routing no longer option due to changes in the NNLM • “All other Libraries” really means it • NLM remains “Library of Last Resort” • Limited retention holdings  

  8. Other NLM Systems Integration Future of PubMed/LocatorPlus options  • Both PubMed and LocatorPlus are being completely 'replaced' within the next 1-3 years • will not be integrating present versions • can't say about the future versions
