  1. Monkeys By Michael Henning and Jayden Kureczka

  2. There are currently 264 known monkey species. The lifespan is 15-20 years. The weight depends on the species 8.8-86 pounds. The height 7.4 inches-2.3 feet. Monkeys are primates and they have big brains. Forward facing eyes. They all have fur. Some monkeys have pads on their behinds. Monkeys that live in Africa and Asia have noses that are not flat like the Midas Tamarin.

  3. Some monkeys live in Africa and Asia and South and Central America. Monkeys live in trees to keep safe and find food. Many arboreal monkeys live in the canopy layer of the trees in the rainforest. Monkeys are not nocturnal. We both would love to live in the trees and swing!

  4. Monkeys are prey to big animals, alligators, and jaguars and panthers. Monkeys are predators to bugs and insects! We both do NOT want to eat bugs! They eat bugs off each other’s backs!

  5. Monkeys live in the forest because their food is there. Monkeys use their tail as a third arm and that is called prehensile. They use the pads on their bottoms to stay on branches. The best swingers get the best food and they share with their family. We would like to swing in the trees and pick bugs off each other.

  6. Some monkeys live for 15 years. A baby monkey is called an infant just like humans. Monkeys walk in troops. When baby monkeys get bigger like 2-8 years the boys will go off on their own and girl monkeys will stay with the mom.

  7. Monkeys are adventuruse because they swing tree to tree to survive. Mommy monkeys are pertectiv and need to feed the babys.

  8. I`m like monkeys because I eat bananas. I`m like monkeys because I swing in trees. I`m like monkeys because I swing fast in trees. I`m like monkeys because I have ears like monkeys.

  9. I am not like monkeys because they have pads on their butts. And I don’t have a tail. I have no fur. I were clothes and monkeys don`t. I were shoes and monkeys don`t.
