  5. A Cell Wall is like a Moat & Wall Because the moat serves as protection & the walls support & makes the structure of the castle…

  6. An Endoplasmic Reticulum is like a hallway… Because the hallways serve as passages for people to move through the castle…

  7. A Golgi Apparatus is like a Secretary… Because the secretary is in charge of packaging & delivering the mail of the castle…

  8. A Mitochondrion is like a King’s Subjects… Because the king/kingdom gets its power from its subjects & they produce all the power to make the kingdom…

  9. A Vacuole is like a Kitchen… Because the kitchen stores food & water…

  10. A Ribosome is like a Chef… Because the chef cooks all the food to keep the people of the castle running…

  11. Comparison of Plant & Animal Cells: PLANTS: ANIMALS: • Have cytoskeleton • Does only cell respiration • Not green • Many small vacuole • Can be any shape • Have a cell wall • Does photosynthesis & cell respiration • Have chloroplasts • Green • Have one large central vacuole • Square in shape
