Workshop goals The goals of the ICAO Safety Management Systems (SMS) Senior Management Workshop are to provide participants with : • an overview of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) on safety management in Annexes 6, 11 and 14, and their underlying concepts, and • a structured process for the implementation of a safety programme and an SMS, as proposed by ICAO
