America’s Unique Arrangement • Immigration • Innovation • Invention-----Industry • Frederick Jackson Turner’s Frontier Thesis The idea that we continue to move west-> we adapt -> we change-> a new America develops shedding the Eastern background of the establishment of the nation. INDEPENDENT DEMOCRATIC SELF SUFFICIENT TOUGH Jackson felt that there was something special, romantic about the move west and the development of the American spirit that developed in moving across the continent.
