  1. WELCOME To Ceres

  2. Ceres The Plutoid • Ceres is indeed a Plutoid. • Ceres is the largest object in the Asteroid Belt. • It is 5AU away from the sun. That’s 414,703,838 km!

  3. What is it like? • The normal surface Temperature on Ceres is 167 degrees Kelvin. (-63 degrees Fahrenheit) • Ceres has a ROCKY core, and ICY mantle. Along with a DUSTY surface to top things off. • A full day is 9 hours and 4 minutes (in earths time.) • A year on Ceres is 365.25 Earthling days.

  4. Ceres has no Moon… Sorry…

  5. How Big Is Ceres? Although Ceres is the biggest object in the Asteroid Belt, it definitely isn’t the biggest planet. (It’s a plutoid, after all.) Ceres’s diameter is 950km. That is 1/10,000 the size of Earth. That means that 10,000 little Ceres’s would fit in Earth!

  6. Did you know?! Ceres is the smallest known dwarf planet. Ceres is the ONLY planet in the inner solar system. Ceres is named after the goddess of Harvest.
