  1. 2012-2013 Booster Club Season Girls Basketball

  2. Welcome!! • Goals for the Booster Club Season: • Get girls in the gym • Focus on skills • Introduce them to the style of play used at the high school level • Cost: • $50 ($75 if you have more than one daughter in program) • Covers Saturday NWGBL games, Saturday clinics, t-shirt, etc.

  3. 3rd and 4th grades • Practice once per week • Saturday Skills Clinics: • Nov 3rd 12pm-3pm • Nov 10th 9am-12pm • Nov 17th 12 pm-2pm • Dec 1st 9am-12pm • Dec 8th 9am-12pm • NWGBL Saturday games Jan-Feb • 1-2 tournaments after the first of the year

  4. 3rd and 4th grade • 3rd grade contact/coach - ? • 4th grade contact/coach • Larry Lueck

  5. 5th and 6th grades • 2-3 teams per grade, split evenly • All practice together twice per week • NWGBL Saturday games Nov-Dec • Foxview League Jan-Feb • Form 1 tournament team after Jan 1st • Options for players not on tournament team

  6. 5th and 6th grades • 5th Grade Contacts/Coaches • Sean Edwards • Jeff Wettstein • 6th grade Contact/Coach • Andy Cerrato

  7. 7th and 8th grades • 2 teams in 7th, split evenly • 1 team in 8th(most likely) • Practice twice per week • NWGBL Saturday games Nov-Dec • Middle School League Jan-Feb • Form 1 tournament team after Jan 1st • Options for players not on tournament team

  8. 7th and 8th grades • 7th Grade Contact/Coach • Tim Hoyman • 8th Grade Contact/Coaches • Kati Harty • Stefanie Bunday

  9. The De Pere Youth Basketball Program receives support from the Booster Club in: • Securing gym time • Providing basketballs to the middle and elementary schools • Coordinating tournaments, leagues and clinics • Subsidizing uniforms

  10. Families in the Youth Program are asked to assist in fund raising activities to support the Booster Club and its objectives. • We will need volunteers for the following: • Boys and Girls Tournament January 26th & 27th • WIAA 6th Grade State Tournament April 13th & 14th • Golf Outing/Auction/Raffle in late May/early June • Main Contact: • -Mark Meneaumonks2644@sbcglobal.net
