  4. Ticket Agents The ticket agent handles all the same kinds of problems as the reservations agent,but with two important differents. First,he meets the public face-to-face at the airline ticket counter. Second,the ticket agent is responsible for receiving money and making out tickets.

  5. Reservation Agents The principal job of a reservations agent is to make a sale-that is,to confirm space on his own airline that is as close as possible to the passenger’s needs and desires. Being a reservations agent is particularly rewarding for the kind of person who enjoys working with other people and helping them to solve their problems.

  6. You will need “3C” • Credit It’s very important to your job or life you must never forget! • Creativity Make creative suggestions to customer.Don’t forget,that person has come to you for something that he or she could not find by herself on the Internet or elsewhere. • Coordination Cooperation spirit

  8. Never forget that The one thing that the Internet cannot provide is the emotional link of eye contact, a pleasant smile and a warm handshake.

  9. Never forget that 1.Some may be first travelers. Others may be veterans. 2.Either way,they expect you to provide that service.

  10. Patience Even after doing your best,you may lose the business.No one can win all the time. You must be able to put these losses behind you,and look forward to the next challenge.

  11. Language Skills The importance of these will rise significantly in the next few years.If everyone speaks some English in a global world,your Unique Selling Proposition will lie in your ability to communicate with people of different cultures in their own language.

  12. Good Organization Skills • The complexity of the Travel and Tourism industry requires a human touch to simplify and sort out.Being able to organize well is a major asset in terms of increased productivity and efficient use of time and financial resources.

  13. A Cool head • Handling customer complaints is becoming an art in itself.Cooling down irate clients,talking them through their problem and solving it,is becoming an skill worth its weight in gold. If you have a background or interest in psychology,this could well be a good field to specialize in.

  14. TEAM SPIRIT An excellent team requires all the members to trust each other,to be affiliated and unreserved. if every member can make full use of their intelligence and power to work actively, the team will be powerful and excellent with good cohesive force. The difference between a line and a rope just lies in coherence.

  15. Team spirit A strong team should have a spirit of wolf. Wolf is an animal which is strong in single warfare, but it can never confront with bear A pack of wolf is socialized creature with a high degree of cohesion , thus makes its hunting object to be bear. United stats is a country which has a high worship of heroism, however, the factor which makes it become the lead of the world economy is not the great personal heroism. Alexander， the ancient Greece hero share his possessions with his fellows when expediting to Persian ,since he knew the fact that one person can not create miracle.

  16. GOOD KONWLEDGE OF GEOGRAPHY The National Airline of Singapore has the best performance, the most customers and the best record of flying over the world. All of these are depend on good knowledges of their job.A good knowledge of geography is just an important one.
