  1. Monkeys: The Real Stuff By: Madyson Hunter And Ahmad Azmi

  2. Be Educated: Facts About Monkeys • There are 264 known monkey species • Some monkeys live on the floor of the jungle or their environment • Groups of monkeys can be called a “tribe”, a “mission”, and a “troop” • Monkeys have an IQ of 174. That is very smart – but we haven’t seen what tests would show this as true so we have our doubts! • Hawks, people , and eagles are predators of monkeys • Monkeys love to be massaged • The loudest monkey is said to be the howler monkey • Monkeys hate being looked in the eye for more than four seconds • And finally , apes are definitely not monkeys!!!!

  3. Biomimicry with Monkeys • Biomimicry is the way of being inspired to make an invention based on an animal , whether it is how they act , how they look , or what they are capable of. • We created a “device” that helps people swing from tree to tree like a monkey, this will “move” your thumbs to your wrists. OBSERVE (we will show the device doing this). It comes with pre-installed gloves for a better grip. It comes with solar powered panels. It also comes with two AA batteries for night.

  4. Monkey See Monkey Do: Funny Monkey

  5. Monkey Bars Literally!!

  6. Monkey Gadgets • Now we will do a very short presentation about how our gadget will work (Here students presented drawings which depicted a long armed contraption that would help humans perform some of the feats of swinging and climbing that monkeys do!) • Thank you for listening and watching!!!
